What is your current role and what does it entail? 

Facilitating the smooth and efficient operation of the training and assessment of all HITE trainees through open lines of communication with all stakeholders and liaising with relevant external parties and partners. Ensuring the strength and solidity of all HITE policies and procedures and their compliance with the requisite criteria and organisations. Strategic initiative, support and development of current training procedures with a focus on creating and developing a new apprenticeship programme.

What are your credentials/experience to your current position? 

After completing a business degree and a 15 year career in media across various roles and disciplines I decided to embark upon a career change and returned to university to study for a master’s in Human Resource Management. During my recent studies I became increasingly interested in Learning & Development, leading me to base my dissertation in this area and move into this field. 

What is the highlight of your role? 

The opportunity to assist in the career development of individuals, who in turn aid the growth and progress of young people across the London area, of which I have been very happy to call my home for the past 20 years. Ultimately the highlight of my new role is to make a difference to society through developing people.
