ITE Administrator (Recruitment, Social Media and IT)

The quotation best captures the essence of my professional career. I am a professional EFL teacher with 17 years’ teaching experience in Poland. With a Master’s Degree in English and UK QTS, I taught all age groups at all levels of advancement. As a qualified examiner of external exams, I prepared students for GCSE and A levels equivalents, as well as English language competitions. I successfully established and managed a private school of English where I worked for 6 years as an EFL teacher and the school manager aside my full-time position in a state college. Apart from my teaching degree and experience, I also have a Postgraduate Diploma in Translation and I briefly pursued a career in translation and interpreting.
In my current role as an ITE Administrator, I am responsible for all matters related to recruitment, Social Media and IT. In terms of recruitment, I liaise with the ITE team, candidates and academy staff to conduct the process of shortlisting applicants; setting up first and second interviews, and making offers to successful candidates. My Social Media duties include looking after our Facebook and LinkedIn pages as well as our company website. Finally, I support the ITE team and our trainees in IT related issues. I consider my current position to be a bridge between my two main careers pursued in two different countries, and I endeavour to reconcile them to make the best of my opportunities.
